Tonapah, Nevada… Most people probably have no idea where that is! And I don’t blame them because it’s in the middle of no where! My sister and brother-in-law and their three kids have been living there for the last two years for a job. I FINALLY was able to go out an visit them this weekend! And I’m now a big Tonapah fan! It’s the smallest, most run down, little town with the coolest history. We went to an old school car race.. like straight out of footloose, went down into the old mines and stood over holes over thousands of feet deep, toured old hotels that were the star feature in ghost hunters, and explored through a car forest! But the absolute best part was getting to be with my favorite people in the world! And watching Knox play with his cousins was absolutely worth the long drive into the desert!

Now onto our next trip… Lake Powell here we come!
