The Christmas that never ends

Christmas this year was absolutely magical with Knox. From the moment he walked out of his room and saw the presents under the tree he was squealing with excitement. It was like his little hands could not tear the paper off of the toys fast enough! His face was engulfed with ooo’s and awww’s the entire morning and we could not get him so sit still. Resulting in blurry pictures and priceless memories.

Ryan bought the six foot basketball hoop… hahaha so the whole morning we held this puppy sideways so Knox could play with it. He was in absolute Heaven.

After opening presents, we went to the park and then spent the rest of the evening playing on the beach and watching the sunset. It was a perfect little Christmas.

We drove to St. George to spend Christmas with my family. I really do have such an amazing family and getting to spend 5 days with them for the Holidays was pure joy.

The year long anticipated “What pajamas with Nana get us this year” finally came! And the kids were extatic about the Darth Vador pj’s! Getting them all to stand in a line for a picture was a mix of squirming, laughing, screaming, dancing, and posing haha oh to be a kid again!DSC_0581 DSC_0583

Complete with cape and everything hahaha DSC_0608

Aunt Summer was the life of the party! She came in like Santa with a huge bag of toys for all of the kids.. I think this automatically makes her the favorite Aunt.DSC_0638 DSC_0639 DSC_0646

Knox loved being with his cousins. He was completely smothered the entire time but thoroughly enjoyed every second of it!DSC_0662 DSC_0666 DSC_0688 DSC_0693 DSC_0696

Kissing cousins… there is nothing better!

Okay.. now for Christmas #3… We traded our warm weather for some snow. Because what would Christmas be without at least a little snow! We drove to Draper to have a Christmas with our Lee family. We love spending time with them so so much! And Knox missed them like crazy! DSC_0791 DSC_0792 DSC_0793 DSC_0795

By the end of this all Knox was an absolute pro present opener!DSC_0798 DSC_0805 DSC_0807 DSC_0813

The rest of our trip was spent going out to eat, relaxing at home, watching movies, and spending time together as a family. DSC_0832 DSC_0842

New Years Eve was spent partying with our best friends.. A perfect way to start the new year! (Why we didn’t get pictures of everyone.. I don’t know..)

I am so grateful for all the people that surrounded us with love this looong Christmas. For the thoughtful gifts and the time people made to be with us. We have amazing people in our lives and don’t take any of them for granted. I’m so grateful for this time of year when not only do we think of others, but of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Here is to a new year! And no matter our circumstances.. making it better than the last 🙂
