We had like absolutely no melt downs the entire trip. He really was an angel! But this picture was taken on our last day, right before a major blow out… poor kid couldn’t stomach that Mexico water any longer!Ryan has dreamed of surfing his whole life… and his dreams came true! It was all fun in games until he almost drown and had to call for the life guard hahahahahahaha okay really it wasn’t funny..
We were so lucky to be able to spend Thanksgiving in Mexico with the Lee family this year. I was hesitant to trade my turkey dinner over for some tacos but it was definitely worth it! This trip is always a good time but this year, with Knox, was even better. He absolutely loved the pool and the ocean and all the pina coladas! I seriously feel so much joy watching him be him. He makes me so unbelievably happy. And watching Ryan being a Dad is really what makes my heart beat!
What I learned from this trip is to enjoy every moment in your life. You should never look back hoping or longing for something that use to be. Instead, you should apreciate the exact moment you’re in. If you’re a newly married couple, a family just beginning, even a mother who’s being introduced to the life of grandkids.. you should love where you are at. If you don’t you will soon realized that you missed out on some amazing things while you were wishing for something else. Good or bad, life is incredible. The ups and downs are what make it so beautiful. I hope that everyone had the best Thanksgiving. There is so much to be thankful for 🙂
